Lower Merion Township: Lower Merion Announces New Sustainability Manager

Lower Merion Township is pleased to announce the hiring of Paloma Vila, PE, as the Township’s first Sustainability Manager, starting July 19, 2021.

Paloma Vila has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Environmental Concentration from Temple University, and a Master of Science in Sustainable Engineering from Villanova University.

Ms. Vilas’ 9 years of experience in technical environmental engineering, most recently as an Environmental Engineer at CDM Smith in Wayne, gives her broad knowledge of municipal sustainability initiatives. She is a passionate advocate for sustainability and protection of our endangered environment.

Utilizing her education and experience to create focused and practical sustainability solutions, Ms. Vila expects to lead Lower Merion Township into a more sustainable future. Through education, incentives, and programs she hopes to inspire others in the community to join this most important effort.
