Main Line Author And Philly Native Publishes Memoir Chronicling Life In The City
Michael F. Duffy, a Philly native and Bryn Mawr resident, shares stories from his childhood in Philly in "Trapped in a Happy Life."
A Philadelphia native who transplanted to nearby Bryn Mawr has published his memoirs that chronicles his time growing up in Philly.
From playing in the streets to being terrified by nuns, Michael F. Duffy shares his stories from the City of Brotherly love in his first book titled "Trapped in a Happy Life: A Collection of Recollections and Unwanted Opinions."
In his inaugural book, Duffy tells stories of “My Beloved Wife” (abbreviated MBW for time’s sake), and skewers everyone from Donald Trump to overenthusiastic clappers at concerts. But even his most barbed remarks are tinged with an endearing humor that keeps the reader hooked, the publisher said of the book.
