Main Line Eatery Hosting Lunch Speaker Series

A Main Line eatery specializing in Asian cuisine is hosting a speaker series where you can get lunch and hear from media professionals speak on "making a difference." While there is a cost to attend, the proceeds will benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation.

Yangming in Bryn Mawr will begin hosting its "Tasty Talks" lunch speaker series at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 27.

Each speaker event will feature a three-course lunch.

The first featured speaker of the lunchtime Tasty Talks will be Marilyn Russell, host of WOGL's Breakfast Club radio program. The event will feature passed hors d'oeuvres, a special media magnet presentation, then with the entrée course, and lastly a dessert course.

Attendance is $20, including tax and tip, for preregistered guests. Walk-in attendees will be charged $25. All of the profits will be donated to the Alex’s Lemonade Stand.

The Tasty Talks concept was conceived by realtor Michelle Leonard.

“I love this new tasty talk luncheon event and I’m sure our customers will flock to it,” Yangming owner Michael Wei said. “It’s a tremendous value and it will be lot of fun”
