Main Line Woman Defends "Jeopardy!" Title Wednesday Night

Lisa Schlitt's winnings now exceed $85,000.

Lisa Schlitt, a microbiologist in Berwyn, will continue her reign as the "Jeopardy!" champion Thursday as she has now won Friday, Monday, and Tuesday, and Wednesday representing the Main Line extremely well.

Schlitt's winnings now total more than $85,00 over her three games.

Initially, she squared off against a portfolio manager from Austin, Texas, and a writer and editor from Seattle, Washington. Schlitt came out on top as champion after betting all her earnings in final jeopardy, giving her a $27,600 one-day total.

On Monday, she took on a daylight engineer and stay-at-home day from Queens, New York, and a relationship marketing specialist and stay-at-home mom from Owings Mills, Maryland. Schlitt again emerged victorious, winning $15,400 and bringing her total to $43,000.

On Tuesday she again won, earning $21,200 in the match. Her total now is $64,200.

Schlitt will defend her "Jeopardy!" champion title tonight at 7 p.m. on ABC against a corporate tax attorney from Charlotte, North Carolina and a writer from Newton, Massachusetts.
