Man Shot In Bala Cynwyd Saturday Night: Police

Lower Merion Police said a man was shot in the chest Saturday night at Monument Road and City Avenue.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — A is in critical condition after being shot in Bala Cynwyd over Memorial Day Weekend.

According to Lower Merion Township Police, the shooting occurred at about 11:41 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Monument Road and City Avenue.

Officers were called to the area and found the victim, a 29-year-old Philadelphia man, with a gunshot wound to his chest, police said.

Police also found shell casings from a semi-automatic firearm at the scene.

The victim was taken to a ho postal where he is in critical condition, but stable.
