Narberth, Bala Cynwyd Health Inspections: 13 Eateries Inspected

NARBERTH-BALA CYNWYD, PA – The Montgomery County Health Department inspected 13 Narberth- and Bala Cynwyd-area establishments in January and found most to be in violation of at least one health code.

Boston Style Pizza in Bala Cynwyd had the most violations with 15 found in its Jan. 18 inspection.

Those violations included mouse-like droppings found near the microwave; missing hand wash, food prep, and mop sinks; missing ingredient labels and dates on prepared foods for sale; a missing Montgomery County Health Department food license; and more.

Below are the establishments inspected, inspection dates, and the number of violations:

• 555 Gourmet Deli – inspected Jan. 25, six violations
• Rival Bros. of Noba Workspace – inspected Jan. 23, four violations
• 7-Eleven – inspected Jan. 22, five violations
• Wawa Food Market #40 – inspected Jan. 22, four violations
• Sushi Avenue, Inc. (inside Acme #7711) – inspected Jan. 22, one violation
• The Hearth at Drexel (Mary J. Drexel Home) – inspected Jan. 22, six violations
• The Vitamin Shoppe – inspected Jan. 19, one violation
• Mangia – inspected Jan. 18, seven violations
• Starbucks Coffee #785 – inspected Jan. 17, one violation
• Corner Bakery Cafe – inspected Jan. 16, no violations
• Boston Style Pizza – inspected Jan. 18, 15 violations
• Manny's Place – inspected Jan. 10, seven violations
• Main Line Health Food International, Inc. – inspected Jan. 5, one violation
• Ginja Japanese Restaurant – inspected Jan. 3, 11 violations
