Narberth And Bala Cynwyd Students Attend Engineers Conference

Students from both Lower Merion and Harriton High Schools attended the NSBE Fall Regional Conference in Greensboro, N.C.

LOWER MERION TWP., PA -- Members of the National Society of Black Engineers at Lower Merion and Harriton high schools attended the society's Fall Regional Conference in Greensboro, N.C. this year. The students participated in numerous engineering-related activities and toured the campus of North Carolina A&T.

The NSBE, which began in 1975 and boasts an active membership of around 16,000, aims "to increase the number of culturally responsible Black Engineers who excel academically, succeed professionally and positively impact the community," according to its mission.
