Narberth Enacting Snow Emergency Routes, Postpones Collections

NARBERTH BOROUGH, PA — Due to more winter weather expected to hit the Philadelphia region, Narberth Borough is enacting snow emergency routes.

According to the borough, snow emergency route parking enforcement will begin at 9 a.m. Thursday.

Vehicles must be moved by 9 a.m. to allow plows to clear roads around the borough.

Vehicles that are not moved will be ticketed and could be towed, officials said.

Additionally, the forecast led officials to postpone recycling collections scheduled for Thursday.

Recycling collections will resume Friday, and trash and bulk item collection will be postponed until Saturday.

Residents are also reminded they are required to clear the sidewalks on their property within 24 hours of the end of the storm. Sidewalks are to be fully cleared to provide a minimum of 36 inches of clear pathway. Also, snow removed from sidewalks and driveways is not permitted to be put in borough roadways.
