Narberth Launching Parking Study Task Force

Narberth Borough is seeking residents to participate in a task force that will help shape parking in the borough.

NARBERTH, PA — Narberth Borough is establishing a Parking Study Task Force and residents are encouraged to apply to join.

Once formed, the task force will make recommendations to the Narberth Borough Council for changes to parking management in the borough.

The basis of these recommendations is found in the recommendations of the 2017 Narberth Borough Parking Study.

The anticipated time commitment is 4 to 5 months

Work on the task force will require reading and understanding the Parking Study, attending regular meetings of the task force, and coordination with the Narberth Police Department and Narberth Borough Administration.

Task force members will need to:

  • Review the findings of the Parking Study as a grounding for the work
  • fully understand current mechanisms of enforcement and capabilities developed by the borough to date;
  • harmonize the Parking Study recommendations with the 2019 Narberth 2040 Comprehensive;
  • and plan, with an emphasis on any findings or recommendations within the Comprehensive Plan that impact or suggest the need to augment the Parking Study’s recommendations.
