Narberth-Made Pot Pie Among Area's Best, Philly Magazine Says

NARBERTH, PA — With snow here and not appearing to go away anytime soon, many of us are looking for a good cozy meal to stay warm during seemingly relentless winter weather.

And one of the best meals for just that is a pot pie. But where can one get a great pot pie in the region?

Well, Philadelphia Magazine's Sarah Maiellano has the perfect guide to finding a great belly-warming and filling pot pie in and around the city.

"Buttery pastry, slow-cooked meat, gravy, and tender veggies all in a piping hot dish," she wrote in her list. "We’re talking about pie — specifically savory pie, like chicken pot pie, shepherd’s pie, and British meat pies."

Maiellano listed numerous spots in the area that serve up some of the best pot pies, and a Narberth shop's shepherd's pie made the cut.

Pinwheel Provisions has a must-try shepherd's pie, offered as a ready-to-bake frozen pie.
