Narberth's Civil Service Commission, Rec Board Need Members
Interested Narberth Borough residents can apply to be part of the borough's Civil Service Commission and Recreation Board.

NARBERTH, PA – Narberth Borough residents interested in serving the borough can apply now for two vacant appointments that need to be filled.
The borough's Civil Service Commission and its Recreation Board need volunteers, according to the borough.
The vacant seat on the Civil Service Commission has a term that expires on Dec. 31 this year.

The three-member Civil Service Commission creates rules and procedures and acts upon the same for the recruitment of and disciplinary actions regarding police officers employed by the borough, according to the borough.
As for the Recreation Board seat, that term expires Dec. 31, 2020.

The Recreation Board serves as an advisory body to Borough Council on issues related to parks and recreation and will refer their conclusions, recommendations and opinions to Borough Council for appropriate action, the borough said.
Interested individuals can send an email expressing their desire to serve on the commission or board.
Email your information to appointments@narberthpa.gov by 3 p.m. Friday, August 10.
The Borough Council will make appointments at its business meeting on Wednesday, August 15, 2018.
