NarBirthday Virtual Potluck Set For Sunday Canceled

NARBERTH, PA — This year's NarBirthday event has unfortunately been canceled.

The Narberth Civic Association was set to hold the virtual NarBirthday Potluck Social event on Sunday.

However, the group has canceled the event.

"We'd hoped that a virtual food-sharing and Zoom-based celebration would be an appealing alternative to an in-person event, but unfortunately, we did not get enough sign-ups to make the event feasible," the group said.

The civic association said the lack of participation could have been "the now year-long pandemic, Zoom fatigue, the logistical challenges of the food swap, or something else."

But the group is looking forward to providing community events in the warmer weather.

"Rest assured that with the prospect of nicer weather — and healthier, safer, happier times — the Civic Association will continue to explore ways to bring our community together in the days to come," the group said.
