Nearly 76 Percent Of Voters Turned Out In Narberth Tuesday
Tuesday's voting numbers near presidential election-level turnout, according to unofficial totals from Montgomery County.

NARBERTH BOROUGH, PA – The 2018 general election was touted as one of the most important elections in history, so naturally voters came out strong to cast ballots. And droves of Narberth Borough voters went to the polls Tuesday.
According to data from Montgomery County, 2,565 voted in Narberth Borough – including absentee ballots.
There are 3,379 registered voters in the borough of roughly 4,350 people.

County data shows that 75.91 percent of registered voters in the borough cast ballots Tuesday.
That's nearly presidential election-level turnout, as in the 2016 election 89 percent of registered voters went to the polls.

In the 2014 midterm elections, just 54 percent of voters turned out, per historical county data.
Narberth voters cast 2,158 ballots for Gov. Tom Wolf to help his win over Scott Wagner.
Sen. Bob Casey earned 2,134 votes in Narberth, with State Rep. Lou Barletta earning just 390.
In the 5th District race, Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon earned 13,888 votes to Republican Pearl Kim's 3,884.
