New Fried Chicken Spot Lovebird Opens On Main Line

MAIN LINE, PA — A Bucks County eatery that specializes in fried chicken has officially opened the doors to its Main Line outpost.

Lovebird is now open for business at 1068 East Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr

Lovebird opened its first location in Doylestown in August 2018.

The eatery was created and developed by the founders of Jules Thin Crust Pizza, which has seven locations in the Greater Philadelphia area.

Offering dine-in and carry-out services seven days a week, the Bryn Mawr restaurant serves made-to-order sandwiches, salads, quinoa bowls, hand-cut fries, mac and cheese, slaw and more. Gluten free options are also available.

And don't forget the sauce: special sauces include spiced local honey, organic sriracha mayo, roasted garlic aioli, sweet chili sauce and all-natural ketchup, according to the menu that has been posted on the restaurant's webpage.

"We provision our birds from the fertile and untouched fields of Gerber's Amish Farm. They are raised with love, freedom, fresh air and natural food," the restaurant says on its website. "Hence they are plump, juicy and full of flavor."

• The LBLT sandwich: All-natural smoked bacon, tomato, Blue Moon Acres pea greens and avocado
• The Seoul Bird sandwich: Gojuchang mayo, kimchee, cucumbers and cilantro
• Chicken Strip Poutine: Crispy fried chicken strips with roast chicken gravy, locally made cheese curds, spring onion and truffle ketchup
• The OG bowl: Blue Moon Acres rice, red quinoa, kale, roasted tomatoes, avocado, pickled shiitakes and scallion

Lovebird is open 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and noon to 8:30 p.m. on Sundays.

The leasing team representing Lovebird was led by Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. Senior Vice President of Brokerage Services Mike Murray.
