PECO Restricting City Avenue This Week

PECO will close a lane on City Avenue during the daytime next week as its crews work on utility construction.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — PECO Energy is planning a single lane closure on a road in Bala Cynwyd this week, PennDOT said.

According to PennDOT, work PECO will be conducting utility construction on City Avenue Thursday through Saturday this week.

A lane on City Avenue will be closed those days from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., PennDOT said.

The affected work area is between Bala Avenue and Presidential Boulevard.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
