Splash of Spring Weather Turns Wet and Rainy
The sun shined bright Monday afternoon, but the rest of the week calls for a return to the cold and rainy weather.

Mother Nature gave the Philadelphia region a nice reprieve from the frigid winter weather Monday, allowing baseball fans to start the season off with clear skies for Opening Day. Temperatures reached 72 degrees by the time the first pitch was thrown at Citizens Bank Park. The rest of the game did not go as nicely, with the Phillies falling to the Boston Red Sox 8-0.
Like the Phillies’ undefeated record, the sunshine will not last long, either. It will be back to the cold and wet weather the region has experienced since winter began, with temperatures falling to 45 degrees.
