Police Issue Photos Of Bala Cynwyd Burglary Suspect

Businesses at 1 Presidential Blvd. in the Bala Cynwyd section of Lower Merion have been targeted by burglars recently.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — Lower Merion Township Police Thursday released photos of a burglary suspect who broke into Bala Cynwyd businesses.

Police have reported several break-ins at businesses located at 1 Presidential Blvd. in Bala Cynwyd.

Six total break-ins have occurred at that address since Jan. 11.

Now, police said the man seen above is sought in connection with burglaries reported Jan. 24 and Jan. 25.

Police described the suspect as a heavy-set black man who was wearing a dark sweatshirt and dark shorts with a white stripe over a pair of dark sweatpants.

In the Jan. 24 incident, the burglar stole IP phone and miscellaneous office supplies, police said.

Other recent break-ins occurred at 12:25 p.m. on Jan. 22 at a business on the unit block of Cynwyd Road; at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 1 Presidential Blvd.; and sometime between 12:28 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9 and 7:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 11 at 1 Presidential Blvd.
