Report: Bala Cynwyd Citibank to Stay Open
Local branch closures are part of a larger move that includes cutting 11,000 jobs.
As part of the restructuring of Citigroup, which includes cutting 11,000 jobs, a number of local bank branches will be closing, according to Philly.com.
According to Philly.com, branches closing are:
- Chestnut Hill
- Berwyn
- Media
- Villanova
- Springfield (Delaware County)
The Bala Cynwyd branch will stay open, according to Philly.com.
Citigroup announced the layoffs on Dec. 5 as part of a restructuring move designed to save $1.1 billion in expenses in 2014.
