Shot Fired In Bala Cynwyd Armed Robbery

The armed robbery occurred in a Wawa parking lot about a day after a double shooting occurred on East City Avenue.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — Two men were robbed and had a gunshot fired at them Sunday night in Bala Cynwyd, according to Lower Merion police.

Police said the incident occurred at 10:15 p.m. in the parking lot of the Wawa at 192 Belmont Ave.

A man approached two other men who left the store and robbed them of $40, police said.

As the man ran off, he fired a shot toward the victims.

No one was hurt and the subject was not found.

This robbery occurred about a day after an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were shot multiple times just before 2:30 a.m. as they were sitting near the front entrance of More 101.1 FM.
