Summer Fun Run, Chef Jacquie Coming to Town This Week

• The Lower Merion Health Advisory Committee is meeting on Monday. 
• On Wednesday, The Greeks in Narberth is hosting the Cooperstown Fundraiser for the Lower Merion Wildcats baseball team. The fundraiser runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. will help pay for the team's trip to compete in tournament in Cooperstown, New York, the site of Major League Baseball's Hall of Fame. 
• The Bryn Mawr Running Company is hosting the MANNA Summer Fun Run on Thursday. It's $25 to enter, and the proceeds benefit MANNA's nourishing meal program. 
• On Friday, the Merion Civic Association is holding its monthly meeting. Shawn Kraemer of Lower Merion United will be speaking about grass roots efforts to promote legislation to address gun violence.
• Chef Jacquie, founder of Taste 4 Travel , will be at the Bryn Mawr Farmer's Market on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
