This Narberth Parade is Definitely for the Dogs

The NarBark Dog Parade is back on June 7.

On June 7 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the Narberth Business Association is hosting the sixth annual NarBark Dog Parade. 

Set in downtown Narberth on First Friday, the parade features food, fun, and, of course, pooches. 

Here's the nub: those interested in competing can dress their dogs in costumes and enter them in up to three categories. These include.

  • Best Movie Character
  • Best Handmade Costume
  • Sportiest
  • Funniest
  • Dog that looks most like it's owner
  • Most Original Costume
  • Best Performing Dog
  • Best Child and Dog Duo
  • Best Decorated Float or wagon

No preregistration is necessary. Just bring your accoutremented pooch to Forrest Avenue between Haverford and Windsor before 6:30 p.m. to sign them up for the parade. There is no cost to enter, though donations are encouraged. All proceeds go to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
