Truck Flips On Interstate 76 West In Lower Merion Area

Traffic was snared by an overturned pickup truck on Interstate 76 west Monday afternoon, according to officials.

LOWER MERION TOWNSHIP, PA — A vehicle flipped on Interstate 76 West in Lower Merion Township Monday afternoon, according to fire officials and PennDOT.

According to the Belmont Hills Fire Company, the crash occurred on I-76 west between City and Belmont avenues.

PennDOT reports the crash occurred at about 1 p.m.

A pickup truck overturned on the road and closed down travel.

The Belmont Hills Fire Company was assisted by Gladwyne Volunteer Fire Company, Narberth Ambulance, and K&S towing at the scene.

According to PennDOT, the crash was cleared by about 2 p.m.

It's unclear if anyone was hurt in the crash.
