Walk With Landscaping Goats In West Laurel Hill Cemetery

The Philly Goat Project is bringing its goats to West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd Wednesday and you can join them.

BALA CYNWYD, PA — West Laurel Hill Cemetery in Bala Cynwyd will get some landscaping, courtesy of goats, Wednesday. And you can join them for an educational walk.

From 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 14, the Philly Goat Project will bring bleating goats to West Laurel Hill Cemetery to help take care of invasive plants. Another goat walk will be held at the same time in the same place on Aug. 21.

The public is invited to join the project for an informational walk with the Philly Goats who are hard at work eating invasive plants at West Laurel Hill's green burial site.

The walk begins at Nature's Sanctuary, located .4 miles from the Barmouth Station entry to West Laurel Hill Cemetery off of the Cynwyd Trail

This event is free and open to the public.

In the event of rain, the walk will be postponed until Thursday, Aug. 14.
