Accused Craigslist Killer Claims to Have Murdered at Least 22 People Across the Country
Pennsylvania woman claims to have murdered 22 people across the country.
Sunbury, Pa. – A woman who is charged with killing a man she met via Craigslist with the help of her husband claims to have killed more than 22 other people across the country while she was a member of a satanic cult, Philly.com reported.
Miranda Barbour, 19, admitted in an interview with The Daily Item that she and her husband killed Troy LaFerrara in November. She also said in the interview that she has killed other people and stopped counting at 22.
Barbour is charged with using a Craigslist ad to lure LaFerrara to her Pennsylvania home in Sunbury, Pa., with an ad offering sex for $100, The Morning Call reported. Police have charged that Barbour and her husband, Elytte, stabbed and strangled LaFerrara.
In the interview with the Daily Item, the newspaper reported that Barbour said she was molested at age 4, joined a satanic cult and left a trail of bodies across the country in places like Alaska, Texas, North Carolina and California.
The Morning Call reported that the FBI has offered assistance to the Sunbury Police Department in the case.
