Bethlehem Area Public Library: Important Notice Regarding Overdue Fines At BAPL

Please note that BAPL has not been charging overdue fines for any library items during the past year due to the difficulties caused by the pandemic. However, starting with any items checked out today (4/5/2021), overdue fines will be assessed for late items going forward. We have reduced the overdue fee on DVDs from $1 to $.20 and plan to make that change permanent. Library items still will be quarantined after being returned; this quarantine period will not impact your fines. Items will be recorded as returned the day they are returned, though they still may show up as checked out on your record until the quarantine period has ended. Get those books back on time! Thank you.
