Bethlehem Area School District Gets $32,000 Donation

The Bethlehem Area School District STEM program has received a donation supporting its growth.

The Bethlehem Area School District received a donation of more than $32,000 to its Project Lead the Way curriculum.

Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. announced Tuesday that it has made a second EdAhead donation worth $32,355 to the Bethlehem Area School District to help grow the school district’s science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) initiative, the company said in a news release.

The Project Lead the Way curriculum is a four-year series of high school courses that build on another and introduce students to the fields of engineering and medicine before college, Dun & Bradstreet said.

“We are thrilled that our contribution to the Bethlehem Area School District is going to support the innovative Project Lead the Way initiative for the second consecutive year,” Jeff Stibel, Chairman and CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. said in the press release. “We created EdAhead to fuel the next generation of business leaders and the program’s curriculum provides students in the Bethlehem area a fantastic educational foundation. We look forward to what’s to come for these students.”

Since 2013, Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp. has donated $530,000 to public schools across the country. This is the second year in which Dun & Bradstreet made a donation to the Bethlehem Area School District, making a total of $62,355 to BASD.
