Chesterbrook Academy® Preschool in Bethlehem Holds Souper Bowl Food Drive for Second Harvest Food Bank
Students donated more than 400 nonperishable food items for Pennsylvania residents in need
Chesterbrook Academy Preschool in Bethlehem recently organized a “Souper Bowl” food drive to support Second Harvest Food Bank. Students were tasked with collecting canned goods and decorating their classroom’s door to reflect their prediction for the winner of the big game. Over the course of the drive, students collected more than 400 nonperishable food items, and the classes that collected the most cans and picked the correct winner of the big game were recognized.
Serving more than 69,000 individuals each month, Second Harvest Food Bank reduces hunger by distributing donated food to area nonprofits in Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania. For more information, visit www.shfblv.org.
