Fountain Hill Construction Diverts Traffic to Broadway

Motorists can expect delays and additional traffic along Broadway and Fiot Street in South Bethlehem as traffic that ordinarily uses Delaware Avenue in Fountain Hill is detoured for construction, city police said.

Beginning Thursday, traffic along Delaware Avenue will be closed at Bishopthorpe Street and cars will be directed to use Fiot Street and Broadway instead.

Traffic leaving Bethlehem will be able to access St. Luke’s University Hospital. Traffic heading from Bethlehem toward Fountain Hill will be detoured left onto Fiot Street and then right onto Broadway.
