Ghost Stories at Godfrey's for Halloween: Wednesday

Like that Tim Burton movie, Halloween maintains a bony grip on the Christmas City—at least for another day or two.

Here’s what’s going on in Bethlehem today:

• The Bethlehem Area Public Library hosts Nightmare on Church Street for tweens and teens, grades 6 to 12, at 6:30 p.m. Brave the haunted maze, play twisted games, and enjoy killer snacks. Be sure to come in costume.

• The Lehigh Valley Storytellers return to Godfrey Daniels at 7 p.m. with their special salute to the ghouls, goblins and ghosts that make it so much fun at Halloween. There’s nothing better than a well-crafted ghost story, and this is exactly the opportunity to experience those good-ole chills up and down your spine. Admission is $7.50, but children 5 and under get in free.

• A flag football game between the faculties of Freedom and Liberty high schools will be the featured attraction in a night filled with sports and entertainment at Frank Banko Field to raise money for the Race for Adam Foundation. The Race for Adam Foundation is a volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to funding research projects to find a treatment and cure for Niemann-Pick Type C disease and related neurodegenerative disorders. Tickets are $2.

• If downloading photos from your telephone or camera to your computer confuses you, you’re not alone. Get some help in a workshop hosted by the Wesley Church at 7 p.m. Just bring your gear and $10 and they’ll help you out.

• Hard rocking southerners The Black Crowes bring their blues-infused rock n’ roll to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center at 8 p.m. Tickets are $57 or four for $150.
