James Gibisser, 63, Accountant [Obituary]

James J. Gibisser, 63, of Hanover Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Old Orchard Nursing Center, Easton. He was the husband of Susan A. (Smith) Gibisser, with whom he shared over 42 years of loving marriage.

Born in Allentown, Jim was a son of the late John and Elizabeth (Campbell) Gibisser. He graduated from Dieruff High School in 1968, and later from Bloomsburg University with a BS in accounting and economics. He was the owner of Gibisser & Company Accountants from 1986 to 2002, and previously was an accounting supervisor for Boise Cascade Co. Jim was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants for 25 years, and also of the National Association of Accountants. He enjoyed his family, and was always knowledgeable about current events and technology.

Survivors: Wife Susan; daughter Tara Anderson and her husband Patrick and their son Patrick Reed Anderson of Chatham, NJ; brother John Gibisser of Florida; sister Elizabeth Cramsey and her husband James, II, of Macungie; nieces and nephews.

Services: A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the Old Chapel of Central Moravian Church, Heckewelder Place, Bethlehem. Arrangements entrusted to the Long Funeral Home, Bethlehem. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com.
