'Lowriders,' War and Cheech & Chong at Sands Sunday

Also on Sunday, Pennsylvania Blues and Wine on the Mountain festivals continue.

Icons of counterculture comedy, Cheech & Chong, come to the Sands Bethlehem Event Center at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The opening act is the 70’s classic funk band War, which scored hits with records like “Low Rider,” “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” and “The Cisco Kid.”

The Sands has built a daylong event around the musical/comedy concert as a “Lowrider” car show in the parking lot outside the event center will begin at 10 a.m. and continues until showtime.
