Mayor Bob Extends Free Parking In Bethlehem City Garages Until April 30

As a reminder, vehicles will have 24 hours to exit after noon on April 30 or they will be charged the full duration of their stay.

Mayor Bob Donchez announced today that the free parking being offered in the New Street Parking Garage at 324 S New Street and the North Street Parking Garage at 85 W North Street has been extended until 4/30/2020. As a reminder, vehicles will have 24 hours to exit after noon on 4/30/2020 or they will be charged the full duration of their stay.

Additionally, the following parking enforcement changes have been extended until 4/30/2020.

  • Booting of vehicles will be suspended until further notice.
  • Suspending of citation late fees for penalties starting 3/1/2020 until 4/30/2020.
  • Street cleaning enforcement suspended until further notice.
  • Citations are being issued for public safety violations only. Examples of public safety issues include, but not limited to:
Double parking

Handicapped zones/Handicapped parking spaces
Fire hydrants
Blocking crosswalks

Prohibited Zones
Loading Zones

Blocked driveways
