SACRED HEART KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS 15682 RAISES OVER $42k FOR MARY'S SHELTER
The Knights of Columbus from Sacred Heart (Bethlehem PA) Council 15682, were very pleased to present a check for their 2018 Bottles for Babies campaign on July 13. Over the past six years, with the compassionate generosity of the parishioners and pastor Fr. Robert George, the Knights of Columbus have contributed $42,232.70 to the mission of Mary’s Shelter.
The shelter provides both residential and non-residential services for pregnant women and women with newborns who need a supportive environment, enabling them to keep their children. While caring for the women and babies, Mary’s Shelter prepares mothers for independent living and visions of hope for their futures.
