The Dice Man Cometh to Bethlehem

Andrew Dice Clay brings his indestructible comedy act to the Sands Event Center.

Early in his career, Andrew Dice Clay was described as outrageous, misogynistic, hilarious, controversial, politically incorrect and foul-mouthed.

His retelling of his “adult nursery rhymes” at the 1989 Video Music Awards earned him a lifetime ban from MTV. Invited in 1990 to host Saturday Night Live, cast member Nora Dunn and invited musical guest Sinead O’Connor refused to appear on the same broadcast.

But after more than two decades the Dice Man is still performing and getting laughs—even receiving critical acclaim for his performance in the most recent Woody Allen comedy, “Blue Jasmine.” Perhaps that’s why he called his most recent Showtime special “Indestructible.”
