Volunteers Needed for Downtown Harvest Festival

Downtown Bethlehem Association looking for volunteers to help set up, run and clean up Harvest Festival.

The Downtown Bethlehem Association is seeking volunteers for its Eighth Annual Bethlehem Harvest Festival on Saturday, October 12th, 2013.  Volunteer Needs are as follows:

  • Set-up Volunteers:  8 - 11:30 a.m.
    Ten to 15 volunteers are needed to work from 8 a.m. up to the beginning of the festival.
    These volunteers will help with set up, including: tables, signage, merchandise, trash and recycling bins, pop-up tents, chairs, etc.
  • Brew Crew: 12:30 – 5:30 p.m.
    At least 50 volunteers are needed to help setup the brewery tents, pour beer at each of them, help refill ice and beer throughout the sampling time period, help out with the pie eating contest, man the information table and even some folks to hang out in the kids area!
    These volunteers should be friendly, outgoing individuals, who willing to learn about the beer they are serving.
  • Clean-Up Volunteers:  5:30 – 8:30 p.m.                      Fifteen volunteers are needed to work until clean-up is completed. These individuals will help break down tables, tents, chairs, signage, as well as handle recycling/garbage, etc.  These individuals will work quickly and efficiently to ensure that Main Street is returned to a clean, beautiful place!
Volunteers who are under 16 years old should be accompanied by an adult.
