Here is what else is happening in Bethlehem today:
- Today is the last day to reserve tickets to see Rabbi Harold Kushner, author of When Bad Things Happen to Good People, speak at Central Moravian Church. His talk is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 9. Call the church office at 610-866-5661 or stop by to get tickets.
- Starters Clubhouse in the Bethlehem Golf Club, 400 Illick’s Mill Road, hosts “Wine School,” a four-course wine dinner with a different wine pairing for each of the courses at 7 p.m. The third and main course features a steak Florentine paired with a chianti. The dinner is Prix Fixe at $40 a person. Call ahead for reservations at 610-625-0060.
- The Bethlehem Zoning Hearing Board meets at 7 p.m. in Town Hall. Among the agenda items is a proposed use variance to establish a financial services office in a home at 2 W. Market St., inside the historic district. That sounds a bit like the conversion of the former Bethlehem Inn, which was a controversial decision for the board a year ago.
- Godfrey Daniels hosts “Dave’s Night Out,” a monthly musical session featuring Dave Fry and local or regional guests. Tonight’s guests are talented young singer songwriters Brittany Ann and Rachel Marie. Admission is $10. Show starts at 7:30.
