Blotter: Theft, Attempted Burglary and Criminal Mischief Reported in Cecil Township

Here are the latest police reports from Cecil Township.

A representative from Accutrex Products Inc., located at 112 Southpointe Boulevard, told Cecil Township police on Monday that someone had stolen skids from the parking lot.

Police said that an employee was able to take a picture of the thief, who was driving a late-model silver or gold Ford truck.

No monetary loss was reported.

Criminal Mischief Reported

A representative of Pittsburgh & Ohio Central Railroad told Cecil Township police on Monday morning that someone had damaged a dump truck as it sat in the company's dirt lot in Southpointe II.

Police said that someone busted out the passenger-side and driver's side windows of the dump truck. Damage to the interior of the driver's-side was also reported.

A company representative said he believed the damage had been done someone after April 11.

No damage estimate was immediately available.

Attempted Burglary Reported

A Cecil Elementary Drive homeowner told Cecil Township police on Saturday that he believed someone attempted the burglarize the home.

The homeowner said that someone had busted out the rear sliding-glass door, and that a bathroom window was wide open.

The homeowner said nothing appeared to be missing.
