Congrats to the Canon-McMillan girls softball team, which won the WPIAL Class AAAA championship Thursday night.
This is the second WPIAL championship title in a row for the team.
MSN.com is reporting that the team won 5-2 over North Allegheny.
Canon-McMillan now advances to the PIAA Class AAAA playoffs. The team will play Hempfield on Monday—with site and time to be determined, according to the Observer-Reporter.
