Cecil Police Investigating Bullet That Stuck Car, Home

The incident was reported Friday.

Cecil Township police are investigating a bullet that stuck a car and then a home on Mayfair Drive.

Police said Jason Amenta, of 1025 Mayfair Drive, summoned officers to his home Friday morning after discovering damage to his vehicle and a hole in his garage door.

Amenta also pointd out a bullet that was found lying in his driveway.

The caliber of the bullet was not immediately known, police said.

Police said that, because of the damage to the vehicle and garage, officers believed that the bullet was shot from a long distance away.

It appeared as though the bullet came from the direction of Greenfield Drive— from a wooded area.

No further information was immediately available on Monday afternoon.
