Cecil police are investigating a threatening voicemail left on the cell phone of a township supervisor candidate.
Police said someone called Cindy Fisher and left a lenghty message in which it was suggested that she would need an ambulance the next time she was knocking on doors for her campaign.
"You should be ashamed of yourself," the caller said.

Fisher also indicated that two of her election signs have been burned, and vandalized with profanity.
"It's unfortunate that we've resorted to these tactics in a local election," Fisher said. "It hasn't deterred me. It has only motivated me to work harder—because Cecil Township deserves better than this."
