Celebrating Summer Solstice in the Canon-McMillan Area

The longest day of the year is on Friday, June 21. What will you do to celebrate?

The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and it's coming up on Friday, June 21.

The summer solstice is the time of year when the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun the most and it is also the official first day of summer.

You can enjoy those extra sunny hours at the Town Park Pool, which is now open through Aug. 25. Daily admission is $6.
