Dog Jog Planned for the Washington County Animal Response Team
Help support the Washington County Animal Response Team.

Organizers invite you to join WaCART—the Washington County Animal Response Team—at its 5K Dog Jog.
The event will be held at 10 a.m. June 30 at the North Strabane Township Park. Sign-in will be at the Quail Acres Pavilion, up on the hill.
Pre-registration can be completed by printing out the form on the WaCART Facebook page and mail the form and check or money order for $20 to WaCART, c/o Doug Detig, 180 Churchill Road, Venetia, PA 15367.
Those who sign up before June will get a free T-shirt. Late registration—any registrations post marked June 2 or the day of the event at the Quail Acres Pavilion—is $25. All registrations are tax deductible and benefit WaCART.
Come early to check in and get your race bib number. There will be a 5K course for runners with and without dogs. Dog treat bags will be available for our four legged friends, while supplies last. WaCART will provide food and refreshments for all participants.
The Pennsylvania State Animal Response Team (www.pasart.us) is modeled after a similar effort undertaken in North Carolina. Was founded after Hurricane Floyd, during which more than 3 million domestic and farm animals were lost. Many could have been saved by a coordinated emergency response plan.
