Election Guide: Who's Running for Canon-McMillan School Director?

Here is who is on the ballot during today's primary election.

Four sitting Canon-McMillan School directors are seeking to retain their posts in the coming election—with one newcomer also seeking a seat on the board.

There are four open seats on the board in the November 2013 election—two out of Canonsburg, and one each from North Strabane and Cecil townships.

Current board President Darla Bowman Monaco, a retired secretary, has cross-filed as both a Democrat and Republican and is seeking nomination for the Cecil seat. Another candidate, Ronald Vrana is seeking the Republican nomination. He did not cross-file.
