Erie Insurance Offers Chance to Help United Way
Pittsburgh to compete with five other cities to benefit the United Way of Allegheny County.

The PTA parent. The sports fanatic who gives up weekends to coach soccer. The neighbor who regularly mows the lawn for his elderly friend. Every community has a wealth of people who freely serve those around them, often with little or no fanfare. Now is their opportunity to be counted while raising funds for their community.
Anyone who serves others or is looking for ways to serve can take the Erie Insurance Service Station pledge on Facebook. For every pledge collected, Erie will donate $1 to the United Way of Allegheny County, up to $2,500.
To add to the fun, Pittsburgh will compete against Columbus, OH; Indianapolis, IN; Milwaukee, MN; Nashville, TN; and Richmond, VA. The city that collects the most pledges will earn an additional $2,500 for its local United Way. Erie Insurance is collecting pledges from now through May 31.
