Foxchase Drive in North Strabane Reopened

North Strabane police had blocked off the street to ensure that a World War II relic was not a live grenade.

A World War II relic caused the closure of a North Strabane residential road Monday afternoon.

North Strabane police blocked off Foxchase Drive to check to ensure that the grenade belonging to a resident there was not live (it wasn't).

Police said the street closure was a safety precaution.
