A high-pressure gas line was hit off Angerer Road near Southpoine, first responders confirmed Tuesday afternoon.
It appears as though the line was struck by a piece of equipment digging in the area.
No further information was immediately available as of 4:45 p.m Tuesday.
Gas company crews were at the scene and first responders said the line was properly marked.
