Ham Radio Classes Scheduled in Washington County

Washington Amateur Communications will be holding a seven-session course where you can learn everything you need to earn your entry-level FCC Amateur Radio License.

Following the class, and testing, WACOM will then offer a class for the General Class License.

Organizers say, "You do NOT need to learn Morse code!"

Classes begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday July 16, and following Tuesday evenings at the nearby South Strabane Fire Station located at 1696 East Maiden St., Washington.

WACOM  provides the classes at no charge, the study guide costs $24.
