International Program FILM FORWARD Comes to Canonsburg

The Frank Sarris Public Library is proud to announce that it is one of 22 libraries in the state to participate with FILM FORWARD: Advancing Cultural Dialogue.  Only eight locations in the world were selected to host this prestigious program and Pennsylvania was among them.

FILM FORWARD is an initiative of the Sundance Institute and the President’s Committee on the Arts and Humanities in partnership with four federal cultural agencies and is designed to enhance greater cultural understanding, collaboration and dialogue by engaging audiences through the exhibition of films and conversations. 

Free screenings and discussions of these thought-provoking films are scheduled as follows:

Valentine Road – Thursday, April 24 at 6:00 p.m.
Dancing in Jaffa – Friday, April 25 at 6:00 p.m.
The World Before Her – Saturday, April 26 at 2:00 p.m. 

All programs are open to the public.
