The state Department of Transportation announced on Thursday afternoon that Interstate 79 is reopened following a crash.
"PennDOT District 12 would like to advise motorists that the accident on Interstate 79 south between Exit 48 (SouthPointe) and Exit 45 Canonsburg, is cleared and the interstate is open," the department said.
