Lawrence Man Arrested in Ohio on Attempted Rape Charge
Matthew Patnewsky was also charged with pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

A Lawrence man was arrested in Ohio last week for attempted rape and pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, a television news station reported.
Matthew Patnesky, 24, was accused of chatting online with who he believed was someone willing to offer up their children for sex—but in reality, he was chatting with detectives, according to 10TV.com.
"Investigators say Patnesky sent the investigator 56 images of child pornography and talked about engaging in fetish activity with the children, including bestiality," the news outlet reported.
Investigators said Patnesky drove from his Lawrence home to Westerville, Ohio, to meet with the person he'd met online, where he was reportedly arrested by authorities.
Franklin County authorities in Ohio could not immediately be reached Monday morning for more information.
